NPP WESTERN REGION MAD AT PRESIDENT

THE NPP Western regional Minority Caucus in Parliament is accusing the President of taking glory in the project initiated by the NPP in the Western region.
According to the Member of Parliament of Amenfi East, Joseph Boahene Aidoo the President should have acknowledged the good works by former President Kufour’s administration.
Joseph Aidoo made this comment after President Mills hit the ground for the construction of Tarkwa-Bogoso road at the cost of 6.3 million dollars.
He explains that President Kufour finished with the negotiations and procurement of funds for the project but the President did not recommend him.

Joseph Aidoo says the government also did not include the Western Region in the 1.8 million dollar loan from China in the construction of the Eastern corridor road project.
According to him, the government had used the Oil revenue as collateral.
The Member of Parliament of Amenfi East, Joseph Boahene Aidoo believes that the NDC government does not have the region in mind.
