ATTACK ON MY WIFE WILL NOT INTIMIDATE ME - KENNEDY AGYAPONG

Member of Parliament for Assin North, Mr Kennedy Agyapong has revealed that while he was on holiday in US last December armed robbers attacked his wife at their home in Legon.
He warned those behind the act that if their intention is to shut him up on the Alfred Woyome issue then they better advise themselves.
Mr Kennedy Agyapong stated that posterity will judge all politicians and their families for destroying the country through corrupt.
He has admitted that politicians are corrupt and elections should never be held in the country.
Kennedy Agyapong says politicians, includes himself, should bow their heads in shame for destroying the country by engaging in corrupt practices.
He made these statement during Dwaso Nsem on Adom FM today.

Mr Kennedy Agyapong says a former staff at the Ministry of Health, Ebenezer Osei duped the ministry of 18 billion old cedis over a period of two months.

ALL SET FOR NDC PRIMARIES

The Greater Accra Chairman of the NDC, Mr Joseph Ade Coker says all is set for the regional primaries without hitches.
He stated that all the candidates at the various constituencies are satisfied and have pledge to obey the rules for the primaries.
The greater Accra region should have held the primaries last week but due to some discrepancies the election was postponed till tomorrow.
Looking at the primaries tomorrow, highly contested areas like the Ablekuma South, Mr Fritz Baffour faces stiff competition from three other aspirants.
The two deputy Ministers of Food and Agriculture and Youth and Sports, Nii Amasa Namole and Nii Nortey Dua are being challenged by their women organisers and other members of the party.
Greater Accra Minister Nii Armah Ashietey will be contested by three aspirants for the Korley Klottey constituency seat. A contestant in the Adenta primaries, Madam Paulina Adenyinaa will also lock horns with the incumbent MP, Mr Adu Asare
Mr Joseph Ade Coker advised delegates to reject any attempt by any aspirant to camp them stressing that it would not only deny them access to fair assessment of their choice but amount to an insult to their sense of judgement and responsibility.

Women Caucus in Parliament calls for establishment of data collection for achievers

A Member of the Gender committee in parliament, Beatrice Bernice Boateng has called on government to establish a database of all women achievers in the nation who will serve as role models to encourage other young women to aspire for higher offices.
She stated that the data should include women achievers in various professions including those in politics adding that this will assist government with a resource of women to select from in deciding ministerial appointments.
The Member of Parliament for New Juaben South argued that with that database, various political parties can identify and expose women who have exhibited the capacity to manage more challenging responsibilities.
Speaking to Adom News in reaction to ‘missing’ women in the list of President Mill’s new appointments, Madam Boateng was not excited about the number of women on the new reshuffled list but disclosed that political parties can unearth new female talents.
She debunked suggestions that women have not positioned themselves for higher positions.

TEMA CLUB TO CONSULT ANTOA NYAMAA ON WOYOME

The brouhaha surrounding Alfred Agbesi Woyome GHS58 million judgment debts has turned an interesting twist, as members of The Great Narfolk Club in Tema are on their way to seeking “Antoa Nyamaa” for the truth behind the saga.
According to the Chairman of the Club Mr Kwesi Agyemang, government wants to cover up details of the saga to the public hence their decision in seeking spiritual assistance.
Speaking to Adom news, Mr Kwesi Agyemang stated that they will also head to Bolgatanga and other areas for confirmation of the names behind those who swaddled the money.
He says they will publish the names of those behind the swaddling of the money after consultation with the spirits.
