NPP HAPPY ABOUT RE-NOMINATION OF JOHN MAHAMA AS RUNNING MATE OF PRESIDENT MILLS FOR 2012

The New Patriotic Party (NPP) says the re-nomination of Vice President John Mahama as the running mate of President John Evans Ata Mills for the 2012 election will make the campaign of the NPP very easy.
A member of the NPP Communication Team, John Kumah tells Adom News President Mills did not consult Jerry John Rawlings and other leading members of the party and that is clear indication of the internal squabbles in the party.
He says the Mills- Mahama administration has been a total failure so the NPP is not threatened by it at all.

On the same issue, the CPP Communication Director, Mr. William Dowokpor says the re-nomination of John Mahama will in no way affect the CPP’s chances of winning the 2012 elections.
He added President Mills will be judged on his own performance in 2012 and not on the person he chooses as his running mate.

Meanwhile, governance and leadership lecturer at GIMPA, Dr Kwaku Osei Akom has said the nomination of Vice President as the running mate is in the right direction and will have a bearing on the 2012 elections.
