MINISTER URGE STUDENTS TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF ICT EDUCATION

Minister for Food and Agriculture, Mr Kwesi Ahwoi has called on the students to use internet facility at their disposal to learn adding that the world is moving fast from paper work to computer.
Mr Kwesi Ahwoi made these statements when he presented 80 computers and accessories to four Senior High Schools in the Agona West Municipality and Agona East District of the Central Region.
The schools are Swedru School of Business (SWESBUS), Swedru Senior High School (SWECO), Nyakrom Secondary Technical School and Nsaba Presbyterian Senior High School.
Mr Ahwoi said the donation is to enhance Information Communication Technology (ICT) learning at the Senior High schools.
He said the computers were brought from the Ghana Investment Fund for Electronic Communication (GIFEC) under the Ministry of Communication to assist ICT studies.
A member of the Ghana Investment Fund for electronic communication, Mr Paul Ofori Amoah appealed to the authorities of the beneficial schools to take good care of the computers and also let them serve the purpose for which they were donated.
