GHC90M SAGA: MILLS MUST CHECK HIS STAFF

A Political science lecturer at the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology (KNUST), Mr Amakye Boateng has stated that President Mills should check corruption by investigating the asserts of his ministers rather than issuing blame on his opponents.
Mr. Amakye Boateng has stated that tackling corruption does not mean that the President is perhaps clean but he tackles the issue among his ministers who might be corrupt.
He noted that those around him might be corrupt in using state money to invest in their own personal gains hence it will be appropriate for him to start by questioning his staff.
Mr. Boateng cautioned the President to be wary of those around him because they can bring his government to disrepute.
The Political Analyst reiterated that the constitution allows the President to fire and hire government appointees who indulge in corruption so he should make sure that those behind the tape in his office to face the law.

End.
