MP BODYGUARD SHOT NDC YOUTH MEMBER

The bodyguard of the Member of Parliament for Jaman North, Alex Asum Ahensah allegedly shot a member of an NDC youth group called 37 parliament.
Adom News Correspondent Prince Williams of Ark FM reports that the incident occurred when the members of the 37 parliament group had gone to witness the handing over of motor bicycles to the district.

Meanwhile, the Regional Crime Officer at Berekum Emmanuel Isaaka confirms the incident to Adom news and stated that investigations have begun into the matter.

MP PLEADS FOR HIS LIFE

The Member of Parliament of Bia, Micheal Coffie has called on his people to remain calm after two district in the area warned him not to step foot in the town for lobbying for the new capital to be his interest.
Mr Micheal Coffie stated that the decision to award Bia as the new district was base on assessment at the cabinet level and not his plot.

The Omanhene and people of Lower Denkyira in the Central Region have held jubilation over the new demarcation of districts.
According to the jubilant people, they are happy to have been separated from Twifo and Heman districts which were previously together as one district.
The Omanhene of Lower Denkyira, Nana Amoah Sesriku III stated that the new creation of district in the region will help decentralized development in the area.

Elsewhere in Juaboso, people in Asempaneye have agitated against the NDC for neglecting them the district capital.
The people have vowed not to vote for the party if that decision is not rescind.
