The Deputy Attorney General and Minister for Justice, Ebo Barton Oduro has confirmed that his ministry received a video tape from the camp of former President Rawlings.
He tells Adom news that the Kofi Adams gave them a video recording of an eye witness sharing his view about the murder of Ya-Na as an evidence of the killings to the Ministry.
Barton-Oduro made these statements when Aide to former President Rawlings Kofi Adams insists there is no justification for government’s inability to find the killers of Ya Na Yakubu Andani II.
According to Kofi Adams, a tape which could lead to the arrest and prosecution of the killers of the late Overlord of Dagbon is in government’s custody.
Mr Adams, who is also the Deputy General Secretary of the ruling National Democratic Congress, said a son of the late Ya Na Yakubu Andani II made the tape available to former President Rawlings.
But Ebo Barton-Oduro says the recording was about an interview with some eyewitnesses of the Killings of Ya-Na.
