PASTORS SLAMS RESEARCH ON NEW TESTAMENTS

Pastors have slammed back at a research conducted by renowned Biblical scholar, Bart D. Ehrman who makes the charges in his new book “Forged” stating that
* At least 11 of the 27 New Testament books are forgeries.

* The New Testament books attributed to Jesus’ disciples could not have been written by them because they were illiterate.
Ehrman also says that two of Jesus’ original disciples, John and Peter, could not have written the books attributed to them in the New Testament because they were illiterate.
But Rev. Pius of the Catholic faith has urge believes to distance themselves from the research stating that the disciples had their own way of writing directed from God.
He explains that during those times, scribes (writers) were available documenting historic events hence the development of writing were already in existence
Rev Pius notes that these events and researches are clear indications of the end time.

A Biblical scholar at the Calvary Baptist Church, Rev. Kyei Mensah challenged the research to go back to the scriptures for clearer classification.
He says the New Testament is absolutely true and genuine as recorded in the Bible. Rev. Mensah stated that the Holy Spirit led the disciples to document the word of God.
According to him, whoever had drought about the Bible have problem with God.

End.
