CATHOLIC CLERGY CAUTIONS GOVERNMENT AGAINST LEGALIZATION OF HOMOSEXUALITY

The Head Pastor of Saint John the Baptist Catholic Church in Twifo Praso, Rev Father Emmanuel Mintah has caution the government not to legalise the practice of homosexuality in the country.
He explains that just as some countries were forced by Human right activists to legalise it, legislators should not legalise homosexuality in Ghana.
Rev Father Emmanuel Mintah stated that the wrath of the lord will fall against the nation if the government tries to consider the rights of homosexuals.
According to him, the Lord will curse the nation if the government takes steps to legalise same-sex marriage.

Rev Father Emmanuel Mintah noted that those practicing homosexuality should not only be legally prosecuted but rather the country should also pray for them so that they turn their mind off from it.
Speaking to our reporter Nana Adjei Obrempong of Arise Fm, he stress that every Ghanaian has a role to play in helping those who are practicing gayism to repent from it.
