MZBEL GRANTED GHC2000 BAIL

Hiplife star Nana Ekua Amoah, popularly known as Mzbel, has been granted bail of GHC2000 after her counsel appeal against the remand of the celebrity.
At the Human right high court today, Justice P U Derry decided to give free Mzbel and two other accomplices with one sureity each that they would appear before the court.
The counsel has adjourned the case to the Friday 10 th of June.
Mzbel was remanded in police custody following an order by an Accra Motor Court that she and two others be remanded for assaulting a police officer.

The celebrated Ghanaian songstress, together with Maxwell Mensah, a driver, and Emmanuel Edem Nordzor, a student, were granted bail of GHC2000 each.

FONKAR ACCUSES GAME OF TRYING TO DISRUPT NANA KONADU’S VETTING

The Operations Manager of the Friends of Nana Konadu Rawlings (FONKAR), Ernest Owusu Bempah, has alleged that some members of President Mills’ campaign team, Get Atta Mills Endorsed (GAME), tried to disrupt the vetting of the former First Lady today with a demonstration.
According to Owusu Bempah, some of the people who embarked on the demonstration mentioned the spokesperson of GAME, Barbara Serwah Asamoah; NDC National Organiser, Yaw Boateng Gyan and National Women’s Organiser, Anita De Sosoo as the brains behind the action.
The NDC commenced the vetting of the two presidential aspirants today starting with Mrs. Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings.
The Vetting Committee was headed by Dr. Mary Grant and Majority leader Cletus Avoka.
Owusu Bempah states that the intervention of the supporters of Mrs. Nana Konadu Rawlings prevented the demonstrators from GAME from causing further intimidation to ruin the campaign of the former first lady.

The Spokesperson for GAME, Barbara Serwaa Asamoah who declined to speak on air however denied the allegations.
Meanwhile, President Mills will take his turn to be vetted tomorrow at the party’s headquarters.
