NPP DEPUTY ORGANIZER JOINS NDC

The Deputy Organizer of the New Patriotic Party in the Ajumako –Enyan- Esiam Constituency in the Central Region, Eric Acquah has announced his decision to defect to NDC.
He explains that the Member of Parliament of the area, Ato Forson has fulfilled in creating employment for the youth in the area.
In an interview with our reporter Isaac Okyem, Eric Acquah states due to the numerous achievements by the youngest MP in Parliament he has rescind his decision to serve the NPP.
Eric Acquah stated that Ato Forson has been able to complete most of the poor roads in the area and has also refurbished the Hospitals in the community.

Meanwhile, the NPP Constituency chairman for Ajumako –Enyan-Esiam, King Obuobi says the party has respected his decision but would have wish he took that decision after the 2012 elections.

PRESBY MINISTER LAMBASTS ‘BOOSTING’ PASTORS

The newly-inducted Presby Minister at Kasapin in the Western Region has lambast pastors who indulge in numerous spiritual challenges on radio and television to desist from the acts because it a sin against the almighty God.
Reverend Benjamin Yaw Acheampong says that the Lord will not forgive those pastors who use the media to boost about their spiritual gifts from God.
He made those statements when he was inducted as the new Presby Minister at Kasapin.
He also cautioned people who want to follow the Lord to exercise patience but not to rush to minister for the lord.
He explains that the influx of false prophets in the country is due to the love of monetary gains and selfish interests.
Reverend Benjamin Yaw Acheampong stated that the Lord diligently prepares the way for his prophets hence prophets who claim to have received the calling from God should not rush in preaching the gospel.

FISHERMEN COUNCIL PREDICTS PIRACY ALONG COASTAL BELTS

The Central Regional Chairman for the National Canoe Fishermen Council, Nana Joojo Solomon has predicted the indulgent of pirates along the coastal belts if the government fails to secure fishermen in the coastal belt.
According to him, the establishment of the oil and gas industry has threatened fishermen as they have been limited to area for fishing.
He explains that the drilling of gas and oil in the western region has since increase social vices like prostitution, armed robbery and recently homosexuality.
Nana Joojo Solomon task the government to secure the about 3 million fishermen by providing them with equipments necessary for fishing along the oil exploration areas.
He stress that without government involvement in securing the fishermen, the fishing industry might collapse in the next ten years.

He accuses the government of neglecting the views of fishermen when taking crucial decisions about the industry.
Nana Joojo Solomon urges government to involve grass root fishermen on legislative instrument that will affect them.

FISHERMEN COUNCIL URGE GOVERNMENT TO ESTABLISH FISHERMEN DEVELOPMENT BANK

The Central Regional Chairman for the National Canoe Fishermen Council, Nana Joojo Solomon has call on the government to establish Fishermen Development Bank to support the fishing industry.
He explains that the Agricultural Developmental Bank (ADB) is no more supporting fishermen financially hence the need to establish a fund from the oil and gas industry to help support the industry.
Nana Joojo Solomon called on the stakeholders in the gas and oil exploration to assist the fishermen.
He stress that about 3 million fishermen might be affected with the gas and oil spillage therefore the government has to create alternative funds for them before the spillage begins.
