01.10.2011 SAM
The Member of Parliament for Ashanti Akyem South, Gifty Ohene Konadu says Ghanaians should not be in a hurry to condemn British Prime Minister, David Cameroon for his position on anti-gay countries.
David Cameron, in a recent interview with BBC threatened to cut aid to anti-gay countries, adding that nations receiving UK aid should "adhere to proper human rights.”
The British Premier has since been described in very derogatory terms by Ghanaians.
But Mrs Gifty Konadu calls on Ghanaians to look at the merits and the demerits of the issue before making judgment.

Meanwhile, other MPs totally condemn the statement by British Prime Minister.
Subin MP Isaac Osei, Catherine Afeku of Evalue-Gwira and Hamadu Sorogho of Madina-Abokobi constituencies condemned the statement.
