GADDAFI’S DEATH WILL AFFECT AFRICAN UNITY

A lecturer at the Legon Centre for International Affairs, Mr Vladimir Antwi Danso says the death of the late Libyan Leader Muammur Gaddafi will negatively affect the unity of the African Union.
He explains that until his death, Gaddafi was a symbol of African unity, urging member states to unite for the development of the continent.

Mr Vladimir Antwi Danso blamed the West for plotting the defeat of the late leader while hitting out at some leaders who he said associate themselves with the West rather than collaborating with their African colleagues.

Meanwhile, about 200 Ghanaians Returnees from Libya, who are resident in the Brong Ahafo Region, are holding a grand funeral to mourn Gaddafi in Sunyani.
The Spokesperson of the Ghanaian Returnees from Libya, Thomas Kofi Twum says they don’t believe killing Gaddafi was the solution to ending the crisis in Libya.
