YOUNG COUPLE ARRESTED FOR 'HAVING SEX ON THE BEACH IN FULL VIEW OF 50 PEOPLE AT RESTAURANT'

A young couple was arrested after allegedly having sex on the beach in Treasure Island, Florida, in front of 50 people - including children.

Erica Huerta, a blonde 21-year-old, and Steven Douglas, 22, were each charged with one count of lewd and lascivious exhibition after spending half-an-hour engaged in various sexual acts, just 100 feet from the restaurant.

According to police there were also at least five children playing in the sand nearby.

The incident took place at around 7.30pm and according to the affidavit both Huerta and Douglas had been drinking heavily.

Douglas was released the next afternoon after posting a $10,000 bond.
Huerta remains in custody in lieu of $2,500 bail.

UNCONTROLLED POPULATION GROWTH BEHIND HIGH POVERTY LEVEL-PRESIDENT KUFOUR

Former President John Kufour has hinted that the high population growth coupled with the low productivity could be reason behind the recent 30 per cent of poverty level in the country.
He explains that in as much as the country invest in agricultural development, if the population growth do not tally with the agricultural productivity the country will still have high poverty indicators.
The 2011 World Food Prize award winner in an interview with Adakabre Frimpong Manso urge the government to take the issue of Planned Parenthood seriously.
Former President Kufour pointed out that the government should continue with the good poverty eradication policies that began in previous governments.
