EXPERTS ‘QUESTIONED’ MEDIA PERFORMANCE AT EDITORS FORUM

The Executive Director of Center for Media Analysis, Mr Messan Mawugbe has expressed his disappointment with the trend of questions tailored by journalists in the annual ‘Editors Forum’ interaction with President Mills at the Castle yesterday.
He stated that the Media questions have little effects on the lives of Ghanaians who were expecting journalists to ‘nail’ President Mills.
Speaking in an interview with Adom news, Mr Messan Mawugbe stated developmental issues such as accidents, high mortality rate, Fulani invention at Agogo and Ghana-Ivory Coast bounder oil disputes were left unattended by Journalists.
According to him, the media should be blamed that much because the notification was too short for them to adequately prepared themselves.
He recommended the President trend in answering the questions stating that the President has improved in his interaction with the media.
Meanwhile, a research fellow at the Center for Democratic Development, Mr Abrampa Mensah says there was over consideration on few issues neglecting other pertinent matters
He stated that some of the questions were not necessary to be asked by the journalists.
