Santa Maria NDC members to hit the streets

Concern members of Santa Maria of NDC in the Weija constituency have threaten to hit the streets on Wednesday 20 April if the President fail to audit the Municipal chief Executive of the area, Sheriff Otoo Duodo because they suspect he has amassed wealth and neglected his duties since he assumed power.
According to them, the MCE and other high ranking members of the party are using their office for their selfish interest.
The Spokesperson for the NDC youth, Fiifi Epton says the MCE has failed to create employment for the youth in the area as he promised.
He explained that the MCE Sheriff Duodo has put up a mansion since he assumed office last two years.
The Concern members are therefore calling the MCE to immediately resign.

But the Municipal Chief Executive, Sheriff Otoo Duodo has denied allegations that he has amass wealth after assuming office in 2009.
He says the said building was constructed by the assembly and not his own property.
Mr. Otoo Duodo says there is no division in the party in Weija and that the executive are angry about the action taken by them.

End.
