ALL SET FOR NDC PRIMARIES

The Greater Accra Chairman of the NDC, Mr Joseph Ade Coker says all is set for the regional primaries without hitches.
He stated that all the candidates at the various constituencies are satisfied and have pledge to obey the rules for the primaries.
The greater Accra region should have held the primaries last week but due to some discrepancies the election was postponed till tomorrow.
Looking at the primaries tomorrow, highly contested areas like the Ablekuma South, Mr Fritz Baffour faces stiff competition from three other aspirants.
The two deputy Ministers of Food and Agriculture and Youth and Sports, Nii Amasa Namole and Nii Nortey Dua are being challenged by their women organisers and other members of the party.
Greater Accra Minister Nii Armah Ashietey will be contested by three aspirants for the Korley Klottey constituency seat. A contestant in the Adenta primaries, Madam Paulina Adenyinaa will also lock horns with the incumbent MP, Mr Adu Asare
Mr Joseph Ade Coker advised delegates to reject any attempt by any aspirant to camp them stressing that it would not only deny them access to fair assessment of their choice but amount to an insult to their sense of judgement and responsibility.
