ISHMAEL ASHIETEY DENIES TEMA WEST PETITION AGAINST HIM

The Greater Accra Regional chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Ishmeal Ashietey has denied misconducting himself during the vetting to the extent that he even answered question meant for a one of the aspirants.
According to Ishmael Ashietey anything written in the petition is bogus and lacks substance.
He explains that he never answered questions meant to Dr. Elvis Ebenezer Donkor in the expense of the other contestants or any other aspirants.
Speaking to Adom news, Ishmael Ashietey says that the fact that he offered the use of his residence as the venue do not mean he intruded the vetting process.
Ishmael Ashietey was reacting to Members of the Tema West NPP issuing a petition to the national executives against improper vetting process conducted on 27 of March 2011.
The statement of petition is accusing the Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the NPP, Ishmael Ashitey of misconduct during the vetting to the extent that he even answered question meant for a one of the aspirants.
According to a statement signed by the First Vice Chairman of Tema West Francis Boadu, Ishmael Ashietey answered questions meant to Dr. Elvis Ebenezer Donkor in the expense of the other contestants.
But Ishmael Ashietey stress that there is never a blood relationship with any of the aspirants especially Dr. Elvis Donkor.
Ishmael Ashietey vowed that if the petition is allow any people to go unopposed then they have failed as he will never allow that to happen.

Ishmael Ashietey says the vetting process was peaceful and competitive. The regional chairman believes that favourable candidates will be nominated to contest in the various areas.
Ishmael Ashietey also denied rumor he bears grudge against Naa Toshie Addo for supporting Dr Nyaho Tamakloe during the regional elections. He explains that Naa Torshie has always supported him in his quest to become the regional chairman of the party.
