PRESIDENT ATTA MILLS LEAVES FOR SOUTH AFRICA AND NAMIBIA

President John Evans Atta Mills today for State visits to The Republic of South Africa and The Republic of Namibia at the request of President Jacob Zuma and His Excellency Dr. Hifikepunye Pohamba respectively.

President Atta Mills arrives in Capt Town on the August 22, 2011, and departs for Namibia, Thursday, August 25, 2011, where as part of his itinerary, he will be the Special Guest of Honour at the country’s Heroes Day celebration on Friday, August 2011.

His Excellency President Atta Mills is being accompanied by, First Lady, Her Excellency Dr. Mrs. Ernestina Naadu Mills, as well as a high-powered business delegation.

A statement released by the Head of Communication at the Castle, Koku Anyidohu stated that President Atta Mills arrives back in Accra on Sunday, August 28, 2011.
