65-YEAR-OLD MAN GOES TO SCHOOL AT CLASS 2

A 65-year-old Cocoa farmer, Joseph Osei, has enrolled at the Nsuta Methodist Basic School in the Assin Nsuta district in the Central Region.
Joseph Osei has been registered to begin his education from Class 2.
Speaking to our Central Regional Correspondent, Isaac Okyem, on his first day of school, Joseph Osei stated that his lack of education has deprived him of some important documents that he could have easily had access to.
The teachers have encouraged him for the bold step he took to enroll to the school.
His class teacher, Stephen Adu explained that the students have been warned not to mock him or make fun of him.
According to Mr. Adu, the decision to start Mr. Osei from class 2 is because of his little knowledge of the English language.
