ECONOMIC THINK TANK URGES JAKE TO PRODUCE MAY 9 DISASTER ACCOUNTS

A pro-democracy and economic think tank, the Ghana Development Centre (GhDC) is calling for the statement of accounts of the committee that investigated the unfortunate incidents on May 9, 2001.

The Communications Director of GhDC, Samuel George, says the committee chaired by now Chairman of the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Jake Otanka Obetsebi-Lamptey has failed ten (10) years on to render accounts to the good people of this country.

According to Samuel George, This unfortunate happened under the watch of then Attorney-General and now flag-bearer of the NPP, Nana Addo Dankwa Akuffo-Addo.

Samuel George believes that rendering an account to the public will heal the wounds of the heart of people who lost their relative in the disaster.
