PRESIDENT MILLS RESHUFFLES DEPUTY MINISTERS

President John Evans Atta Mills has made changes in his deputy ministerial appointments as part of his action year plan to strengthen his team.
This is the third time the President has done a reshuffle in his team this year alone.
Hon. Acquinas Quansah has been appointed Deputy Minister of Local Government and Rural Development as an additional Deputy.
Baba Jamal Mohammed Ahmed, Deputy Minister, Eastern Region moves to the Ministry of Information to replace James Agyenim –Boateng who moves to the Ministry of Tourism.
Mahama Ayariga, Deputy Minister for Trade and Industry moves to the Ministry of Education to replace J. S. Annan as Deputy Minister of Education.
Kwabena Owusu Acheampong, Deputy Minister for Tourism is now Deputy Minister for the Interior.
Ernest Attuquaye Armah has been appointed Deputy Minister designated for Communications.
Ebenezer Okletey Terlabi and Ms. Emelia Arthur have been appointed Deputy Ministers of the Eastern and Western Regions respectively.
