AKUFO-ADDO DECLARES: I HAVE NO PREFERRED CANDIDATE IN UPCOMING NPP PARLIAMENTARY PRIMARIES

The NPP flag bearer for the 2012, Nana Akufo-Addo has declared ahead of the upcoming Parliamentary primaries of the party that he has no preferred candidate amongst the many parliamentary hopefuls of the party across the country.

He says the people’s choice is his choice and he urges all aspirants to go into the elections with a good and clean message.
Nana Addo made this comments at the Catholic Social Centre, Bolgatanga on Monday as part of a nationwide tour by the leadership of the party.
He added that he can confidently tell that the National Chairman, Mr. Jake Obetsebi Lamptey and his team of National officers have no preferred candidate too and are determined to make sure that the process is executed in a free, fair and transparent manner.
Nana Addo also asked party executives at all levels to be fair in the upcoming elections so that after the process, winners and losers can join hands, mobilize their supporters and work hard to ensure victory in the constituency, for both presidential and parliamentary
elections.
