PRESIDENT HOSNI MUBARAK RESIGNS AFTER 30 YEARS

Egypt longest serving President, Hosni Mubarak has decided to step down as president of Egypt after 30 years in Office. Vice-President Omar Suleiman made the announcement in a brief statement on state TV.
It came as thousands massed in Cairo and other Egyptian cities for an 18th day of protest to demand Mr Mubarak's resignation.
Mr Suleiman said Mr Mubarak had handed power to the high command of the armed forces.
According to the sources about 56 people including a Ghanaian lost their lives and about 910 were injured in the fight for ‘freedom’.
However, Hosni Mubarak has warned that the violence will not stop even with his decision to resign.
