EXPERT CALL FOR IMMEDIATE LOCAL RESEARCH ON MOSQUITO RESISTANCE


A Board Member of Unibank Ghana limited, Professor Elis Badu has call for the agent need for a local research to be conducted to test the resistant ability of mosquitoes in the country.
He explains that the country should not always depend on other research conducted in other countries to draw conclusions in the fight of Malaria.
Professor Elis Badu emphasized that a local research team need to establish so that the country can develop a new trend to fight mosquitoes.
Professor Badu made this known in an interview with Adom news during a medical mission programme organized by the bank for over 2000 people in Accra as part of the activities lineup for their 10 years anniversary

Professor Badu stated that the government needs to reduce the prize of medicine so that the less privilege will be able to afford medicine for malaria and other treatment.
He added that poverty sometimes accounts for death of avoided illnesses.
