NANA KONADU WILL BE A HERO IF SHE STEPS ASIDE-MAJORITY LEADER

The Majority Leader in Parliament, Cletus Avorka says Nana Konadu Rawlings will be an instant hero if she allows President Mills to go unopposed in the race for the leadership position, come July 8.
He says the NDC Caucus in Parliament would have loved for one candidate to be affirmed rather than two contesting for the position.
The Majority Leader was speaking to Adom News after they met Nana Konadu to discuss the forth coming congress.
Cletus Avorka stated that though the former first lady has the right to contest in the elections, she will give the party a ‘bonus points’ if she adhere to the suggesting from the majority caucus.

He says that they appealed to Nana Konadu to urge her supporters to not to use foul language in campaigning.
Cletus Avorka also urged Nana Konadu to humbly accept the outcome of the elections so that the party can be united after the congress.

End.
