I will not appear on radio or TV shows if Nana Konadu does not step down – Alhaji Bature

Managing Editor of the Al Hajj newspaper, Alhaji Bature has reiterated his claim that former First Lady, Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings will bow out of the flag bearer race of the National Democratic Congress ( NDC) despite evidence to the contrary.
The National Delegates Congress of the NDC is 26 days away and although Mrs. Rawlings’ communications team has said that she is going all the way, Alhaji Bature insists that there will be only one candidate, President Mills, standing come July 8 in Sunyani.
The outspoken editor and staunch supporter of the NDC, who spoke on Dwaso Nsem on Adom FM Tuesday vowed never to appear on a radio or television show if his prediction fails.
He said the fact that Mrs. Rawlings has picked up forms, gone through vetting successfully and is vigorously campaigning does not mean she will still be in contention for the flag bearer position.
According to Alhaji Bature, the Rawlingses themselves had confessed that they are not interested in the Presidency but only want to set an agenda for the members of the party to appreciate their importance.
He also threatened to spill out confidential information about the Rawlingses should members of the Nana Konadu camp continue what he says is a malicious campaign against President Mills.

He said some people in the former First Lady’s camp are trying to tarnish the hard won image of personalities who support President Mills chiding people like Ernest Owusu Bempah, Saint Osei and Dela Coffie of the Friends of Nana Konadu Rawlings (FONKAR) for insulting and intimidating some ministers of state with their pronouncements.
