GOVERNMENT REFUSES TO REACT TO KUFOUR’S OFFICE SAGA

The Deputy Minister of Information, Baba Jamal says government has no reaction to the rejection of estate houses by the two former presidents at Trassaco Valley.
Baba Jamal said government would rather keep quiet about the issue than make a ‘bid deal’ of it.
He was reacting to public sentiments that government may have attempted to bribe the former presidents with the property instead of fully implementing the Chinery-Hesse Committee Report.
Spokesperson for Mr Kufour, Frank Agyekum had disclosed that Mr. Kufour was not fully informed about it until he received the keys.
Mr. Agyekum noted that the office of the former president will officially write to the government on this position by close of the week.
