MORE YOUNGSTERS HAVING UNSAFE SEX

The World Health Organisation says young people across the globe are having more unprotected sex and know less about effective contraception options.
It says the currently 11%–13% of teens in Ghana are having unsafe sex.
The WHO says the rate is low but worrying because there is high awareness of the various contraceptive methods among adolescence and youths and yet some do not use them.
Some people who spoke to Adom news believe bathing or showering after sex will prevent pregnancy.
Others believe that having intercourse during menstruation is an effective form of contraception.
