SANITY PREVAILS AT WASSA-ASIKUMA AFTER ROBBERS RAID


The Wassa-Asikuma Police in the Western Region say there has been calm and sanity in the community and its environs after armed robbers raided the community some few weeks ago making several people fled the area.
DSP Ben Yirenkye stated that the Police have been able to provide full security in the community to prevent such occurrences.
He said that the alleged armed robbers who raided the Wassa-Asikuma community have been granted bail because the court did not have enough evidence to prosecute them.
He said the 5 men were victims of circumstance.
The Wassa-Asikuma District Police Commander DSP Ben Yirenkye assured the general public that his outfit will investigate the whereabout of the robbers.
