LAWYER BOATENG URGE GOVERNMENT TO ENFORCE CHILDREN’S ACT


Lawyer Kwame Boateng Akyeampong has urged government has put all the necessary institutions in place to enforce the children act.
He stated that though there is the Social Welfer Department and the Domestic Violence Unit (DOVVSU) as well as the Children’s Ministry both departments lacks resources to implement the children right act hence making it difficult for children to insist on their rights.
He therefore tasks the government to put all resources in place to enforce the children’s act.
Lawyer Kwame Boateng Akyeampong made these statement today in connection with the allege spell cast on the ‘girlfriend’ of Bishop Obinim hence making him paralyzed.
He was speaking on Dwaso Nsem programme today with Adakabre Frimpong Manso.
According to him, any other interested party or organization wishing to go to court should consult the family of Gifty Fobih so that they can assist the family.
Meanwhile, The Vice President of the International Federation of Women Lawyers (FIDA), Ursula Owusu has added her voice by urging Christians to be circumspect with their leaders and not to follow suite to their thought.
She noted that Bishop Obinim has disgrace the Christian faith and his wife hence he does not deserve to lead his congregation.
