NDC TO ORGANISE FUND RAISING ON SATURDAY FOR CONGRESS

The National Organiser of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Yaw Boateng Gyan says as part of their preparation towards a peaceful congress, the party will organize a fund raising ceremony to finance the party for their congress.
Yaw Boateng Gyan tells Adom news that Executives of the party will use the event as an opportunity to unity the party and create a friendly atmosphere for party members.
He explains that the Vetting committee has finish with the vetting of the two presidential aspirants for the leadership position.
He says the results of the vetting will be release on Friday. He tells Adom news that currently executives of the party are meeting at the party headquarters to drive a peaceful ceremony.
Meanwhile, the Public Relations officer of the Ghana Police Service, DSP Cephas Arthur says security arranges are all set for the upcoming NDC congress as well as subsequent events towards the big day.
He explains that the Police command has assigned quite a number of policemen at the venues to prevent likely skirmishes that might occur.
