NDC has idolize Rawlings ‘they worship him like Jesus Christ’-Ofosu Asamoah

The NPP Member of Parliament of Kade, Ofosu Asamoah say some members of the National Democratic Congress have idolized former President Rawlings and his family thus making it difficult for them to see any fault from him.
He tells Adom News that the ‘worshipping’ of former President Rawlings has been the major cause internal conflicts in the NDC.
According to him, most people in the NDC are afraid to point out his mistakes to him even when his decisions do not help the party.
He says just as Christians worship Jesus Christ, some NDC members also worship Jerry Rawlings as their father and founder.
‘Some of the party members call him father, founder and their one and only’, as if he is immortal, Ofosu Asamoah stressed.
Mr Ofosu Asamoah noted that former President Rawlings has never believed in democracy and always wants everything to be done his way.
He reiterated that people like the Member of Parliament for lower Manya Krobo, Micheal Teye Nyaunu, Sekou Nkrumah and Nii Josiah Aryeh are unfortunately caught up immortalizing him (Rawlings).
Mr. Ofosu Asamoah emphasized that Jerry Rawlings is using her wife to ‘steal’ power and rule the country again.
According to him, since the constitution does not permit Jerry Rawlings to contest any elections in Ghana again, he is trying to use his wife to indirectly rule the country.
He said that a vote for the former first lady Nana Konadu Agyeman Rawlings is a vote for Jerry Rawlings to rule the country again through the back door.
