CONCERN TEACHERS IN WESTERN REGION ISSUES 72 HOUR ULTIMATUM FOR EXECUTIVES TO RESIGN

Concern teachers in the western region have given the executives of Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) and National Association of Graduate Teachers (NAGRAT) 72 hours to resign for their own good
Spokesperson of the association, Edwin Selom accused the GNAT and NAGRAT leaders of seeking their own interest to the detriment of thousands of teachers across country.
He said the executives have made the constitution so rigid to make it difficult for them to be impeached, but the teachers will find a way to handle them in due course.
Edwin Selom promised that just like it happened in Egypt, Cote D’Ivoire and Tunisia they will make sure their failed executives leave office.

Edwin Selom denied that teachers were happy with their new salaries.
He says they have only relaxed their agitation because of the going BECE and WASSCE.

End.
