GHANAIANS IN LIBYA PLEADS FOR GOVERNMENT SUPPORT

Ghanaians in Libya are calling on the government to immediately convey them from Libya. They explain that most Ghanaians might not be able to travel back home because of financial problems.
Nana and his colleague George tells Adom news that Benghazi where most Ghanaians reside has been a leading focus of protests against Col Gaddafi's rule and therefore the government should intervene to convey them back to the country.
According to some Ghanaians they have been locked in their various homes due to the ongoing unrest in the country.
Human Rights Watch says at least 173 people have been killed and 900 wounded in Libya since demonstrations began on Wednesday.
Some of the Ghanaians narrate their ordeal with Adom news.

However, the Foreign Affairs Minister Alhaji Mohammed Mumuni decline to comment on the issues.
He explains that until the Ghana Libya Mission officially investigates the situation and submit their reports they he cannot make a statement on the situation.
