Bawku Police Commander, ACP Kwaku Boadu Peprah says he is not worried about the recent death threats text messages against him.
He explains that the numerous messages will not in any way hinder his progress of work in ensuring that peace returns to Bawku.
ACP Kwaku Boadu Peprah made these statements when some unknown persons circulated notices threatening to kill him for preventing the Mamprusis from celebrating the Damba festival and also cancelling the funeral of their late chief.
But ACP Kwaku Boadu Peprah says though he has reported the case to the regional police commander, he will not be disturbed.
ACP Kwaku Boadu-Peprah says one person has been arrested in connection with death threats and will be will be arraigned before court.
Meanwhile, efforts to reach the Ministry of Interior to find out if they will transfer him or their action on the issue proved futile.
