where are all the one Ghana pesewa coin?

It is two years since the re-domination of the currency.Many were those who hailed the exercise as a piece of welcome news.
Rather unfortunately, the smallest unit of our currency, the one pesewa coin has disappeared on the market.
indeed,it should be noted that many people especially market women and traders cautioned us about the fate of the one Ghana pesewa coin but authorities paid no or little attention to their advise.
there is no provision or item that cost one pesewa ,so it has escape the minds of many Ghanaians about this problem.
authorities should not forget that huge sums of taxpayers hard-earned money were used for the re- denomination exercise, therefore every effort must be taken to save the one pesewa coin.
